ACH [Bank Account] vs. Credit Card Payments
In TapGoods PRO, there are two types of transactions that users can use to initiate actual movement of funds from a Customer’s account into their business accounts:
Both of these options utilize a Merchant Processor to facilitate the movement of funds from the Customer's account.
ACH [Bank Account] Payments
This option enables funds to be transferred directly from the Customer's Bank Account to the business's account. ACH transactions typically involve electronic bank transfers and may take a few business days to clear. This is a suitable choice for Customers who prefer direct bank transfers.
In order to utilize ACH Payments in TapGoods PRO, you must retrieve the following information from your Customer:
- Billing Address
- Routing Number
- Account Number
- Name on the Account
ACH Payments are labeled in TapGoods PRO records as “Bank” transactions.
