What is a Subrental?
When an Item has been Overbooked in TapGoods PRO, you can resolve the Overbooking by Subrenting Inventory from another business or another Location. Overbooked Items can be reviewed on the To-Do’s page, under Inventory; the To-Do’s page is located under Dashboard.

To navigate to the Order with an Overbooked Item, click on any of the Overbooked Items on this page. Once you have navigated to the Order, scroll down to the Inventory on the Details tab. Under Quantity, any Overbooked Items will be highlighted in orange with an Alert icon next to it.
To create a Subrental, follow the steps listed below:
- Click on the orange Alert to review the options available to resolve the Overbooking.
- In the Alert pop-up, there are two options available if you want to Subrent the Item:
- Subrental Manually
- [TapGoods Select and Premier Subscribers Only] Subrent from Different Location
