What are Temporary Items?
When creating an order in TapGoods PRO, users must add inventory prior to creating the order. Occasionally, it will be necessary to add Items to an order that are not part of your business’s inventory. - While editing the order, navigate to the Items & Staffing page.
- Click +Temp Item

Fill out…
- Item Name
- Quantity
- Price
- Price Rate
- Supplier Information
- Expense.
- Click Submit.
Once a Temporary Item has been added to the order, notes can be added to the Item by clicking the Pencil icon and adding notes in Item Notes.
To add notes to a Temporary Item…

Click the Pencil icon next to the Temporary Item.

Click Add Item Note.
- Type the note into the text box.

Click Submit.
- (Optional) Check the box next to Visible to Customer to make the note visible to customers.
- Click Update.
