Order Settings: Default Note Configuration

Default Note Configuration sets the Notes added to orders to default to a specific setting. This setting will affect all NEW orders created in the platform, but will not impact orders that are created prior to changing Order Settings.
To change the Default Note Configuration, navigate to Order Settings, which are located under Admin on the TapGoods PRO dashboard.
To change the Default Note Configuration, click the dropdown arrow next to the setting.
These option toggles default the Notes settings within all new Order Forms. Users have the option to make Notes…
- Visible to Customers: When toggled ON, notes made on orders will be visible to customers on the order invoice.
- Visible to Operations: When toggled ON, notes made on orders will be visible to the operations team working on the order.
In an Order Form, users can add Notes to the order in the Order Details tab. To add a Note, click Add Note.
Within the Order Form, the Notes section will automatically default to configurations toggled in Order Settings. While Order Forms will default to Order Settings, users will be able to customize notes within the order when necessary.
