How To: Expand & Examine Data on BI Reports
BI Reports in TapGoods PRO are smart, robust Reports that break information down into bite-sized chunks for your consumption. To make information quick and easy to access, you can expand or examine data points on each Report, allowing you to review a breakdown of how the data was calculated.
BI Reports are on the Custom Export page, which is found under Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
On the Custom Export page, click on the dropdown menu and select a Power BI Report.
Once you have generated your BI Report, there are a few different ways to expand the data points to examine a breakdown of the data shown.
#1: Expand Parent Lines
For certain BI Reports, you can expand the parent lines to show a breakdown of the information shown. To expand a parent line, click on the Plus icon on the left side of the parent line.
#2: Click on Specific Data Points
If you're looking at a report, you can click on the data points to see more details about the information presented in the report. When you click on a single data point, the report will show you how that specific piece of data is related to the other numbers in the report.
