How To: Filter BI Reports
Each BI Report in TapGoods PRO allows you to filter the data that appears on the tables and KPI [Key Performance Indicator] fields. BI Reports are on the Custom Export Page, which is found under Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
On the Custom Export page, click on the dropdown menu and select a Power BI Report.
On BI Reports, Filters are located on the left side of the report. Filters available vary by report, and you can use the left side of the report to select any Filter you want to apply.
What do the Filters do?
Although the filters available for each BI Report vary, here are some common filters and how they impact the report:
-Date (Start Date*): When a Date is selected using the Calendars or by dragging the slider, the BI Report will only show data from Orders that start after the selected date. This will change the “Start Date” portion of the Report. *Varies based on revenue recognition selection
-Order ID: This Filter allows you to select specific Orders that you want to review Data for. Once you click the dropdown arrow to this Filter, you can check the box next to one or more Orders and the Report will adjust to reflect the Orders you have selected. You can search for a specific Order ID with the Search Bar.
-Order Status: You can Filter BI Reports for one or more Order Statuses. You can filter by Checked In, Closed, Quote, Reservation, or Cancelled Orders. The default setting for this page is set to show Checked In, Closed, Draft, In Use, and Reservation Orders.
-Department: You can Filter BI Reports to show data from specific Inventory Departments in your account.
-Location: You can Filter BI Reports to show Location specific data by selecting one or more Locations, if applicable to your business.
