Financial Settings in TapGoods PRO
The Financial Settings page in TapGoods PRO allows users to change the Fiscal Year as well as when the business recognizes Revenue and Sales Tax. These settings are especially useful for users who need to set the Fiscal Year to start in a specific month and would like to recognize Revenue after a specified time.
To navigate to Financial Settings, follow the steps listed below.
- Hover over Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
- Scroll down to Settings.
- Click on Financial.
In Financial Settings, you can edit two sections…
- Fiscal Year: Select the month that the Fiscal Year will begin using the dropdown menu next to Month.
- Recognizing Revenue & Sales Tax: Users can select when revenue is recognized by utilizing the dropdown menu next to Recognize Revenue. Users can choose to recognize revenue on the day the order starts, the day the order ends, the day the order closes, the day the order is fully paid, or the day payment is received.
