How To: Adjust Display Settings on an Order
On the Items & Staffing tab of an order form, users can change the Display Settings for a rental. While some settings available in this section are defaulted based on your Order Settings, they can be changed manually within the rental without impacting the default settings on other Orders.
By adjusting the toggles located in Display Settings, the Customer facing rental details will change depending on what is enabled/disabled.
Enabling or disabling toggles in Display Settings will change rental settings for an individual order only; changing these toggles will NOT impact other orders. - Show Item Images: When enabled, this feature will show pictures of the inventory on the rental summary that customers can see.
- Show Item Notes: When enabled, this feature will allow customers to see any notes associated with items that are included in the rental.
- Show Set By Times Notes: When enabled, this feature will allow customers to see any notes associated with the Set By Times.
- Show Individual Inventory Pricing to Customers: When enabled, customers will be able to view the price of each item in a rental.
- Show Category Subtotals: When enabled, each category will show a subtotal that the customer will be able to see.
- Show Serial Numbers on Serialized Inventory: When enabled, Serial Numbers of Serialized Inventory added to the Order will be visible on Customer facing documentation.
If you have Do not display Discounts enabled in Order Settings, you can also select one of the following options regarding Discount Display:
- Display Discounts via Strikethrough: When this option is selected, Discounts will be visible on Invoices with a crossed-out original price and the current Price displayed.
- Display Discounted Rates Only: When this option is selected, only the Discounted Price will be visible on Invoices.
- Do Not Display Discounted Rates: When this option is selected, no Discounts will be visible to the Customer. Only the original Price will be listed.
