How To: Add Routes to Recurring Services
In TapGoods PRO, you can add Routes to Services that must be delivered to your Customers. When you have created a Recurring Service that must be delivered to your Customers multiple times, it is important to create a Truck Route for each Service within the Recurring Service. Adding Routes to Recurring Services is quick and easy!
To add Routes to your Recurring Services in TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Navigate to the Services tab of an existing Order that contains Recurring Services.
- Click Set Routes OR Set All Routes.
- Set Routes: This button will Set Routes for the Recurring Service it is next to. In Orders that contain multiple Recurring Services, you will use this option to Set Routes for only one of the Recurring Services at a time.
- Set All Routes: This button will Set Routes for ALL Recurring Services on the Order. This option is useful for users who are ready to Set Routes for all of the Recurring Services on the Order.
When Routes are created for your Recurring Services, you will receive a confirmation alert.
Once you have clicked Set Routes for the desired Recurring Services, navigate to the Operations Schedule to view your Routes on the Routing Schedule.
On the Routing Schedule, you will be able to view Services and whether they have Trucks assigned to their Routes on a monthly calendar.
To view the Route of a Service, click on the Services Icon on the Calendar to go to the Routing Map. On the Routing Map, you will be able to click on the Route to assign a Truck to the Service.
Once you have clicked the Route on the Routing Map, follow the steps listed below to assign a Truck to the Route:
- Hover over the Unassigned Service and click on the Arrow icon.
- In the slide-out, click the dropdown arrow under Assign Truck and select a Truck from the list.
- [Optional] Click Add Delivery Team Member.
- [Optional] In the slide-out, check the box(es) next to the Delivery Team Member(s) you want to assign to the Route, then click Submit.
- [Optional] Click on the dropdown arrow next to the Delivery Team Member(s) and assign them a Role.
- When you are finished, click Submit.
