Email Template: Final Balance Due w/ Autobill Emails

When Payment is due, it is important to make contact with the Customer to collect Payment. Final Balance Due w/ Autobill Emails are emails that will alert customers that a Payment is due on an Order and that Payment will be collected via the Payment Method on file for the Customer. Utilizing Final Balance Due w/ Autobill, you can automate this process to save time and consistently notify Customers when their account will be billed. 

The Final Balance Due w/ Autobill Email Template can be found in Email Settings, located under the Admin panel on the TapGoods PRO dashboard.

Once you have navigated to Email Settings, you can customize the Final Balance Due Date w/ Autobill Email Template. This email can be automated by toggling Automatic SendON.

To customize your Final Balance Due w/ Autobill Email Template, follow the steps listed below.

1. Click the Pencil Icon next to the Template.
   
   
2. Customize the Subject.
3. Compose the email in the Note field.
4. Click the toggle next to Automatic Send.
   
   
5. Click Save.

It is important to know that this email can only be sent when Autobill is ENABLED on the Order. To enable Autobill, a Final Balance Due Date must be turned on and selected. Autobill and the Final Balance Due Date are located in the Options, Discounts & Fees tab of an Order Form. 

**Note: The default time frame for Payment Reminder emails to be sent can be adjusted in Email Settings:  Payment Reminder Emails.**

Once a Final Balance Due Date is selected, follow the steps below to enable Autobill.

1. Under Autobill Customer, click the toggle to turn on Autobill.
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to Customer, and select a Customer to bill.
3. Click the dropdown arrow next to Payment Method, and select a Payment Method. 
   
   

When Autobill is enabled, customers will receive the Final Balance Due Date w/ Autobill Email when Payment is due.
