Adding Location Codes to Subrental Names
This feature lets TapGoods PRO automatically add a Location Code to the Order Names of Subrentals that come from your other Locations, making it easier to tell them apart from Storefront Orders.
This setting can be found under Multilocation > Settings in the Admin panel. It allows you to toggle the addition of Location Codes to Subrental names.
Follow these steps to enable this feature:
- Hover over Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
- In Multilocation, click Settings.
- Click on the dropdown arrow next to Location Codes.
- Click on the Pencil icon to edit the Location Code.
- Find the Label incoming Subrentals with Location Code. toggle and switch it ON.
- Click Submit.
Once the feature is enabled, the Location Code of the source Location will be added to the Subrental’s name field. This helps differentiate leads coming from different Locations. When one Location requests a Subrental from another, the receiving Location will see the lead with the existing name, plus the Location Code of the requesting location.
For example, if Dallas (DAL) receives a Subrental request from Austin (AUS) for an order named “Holiday Special - 12/25,” the lead in Dallas will appear as “Holiday Special - 12/25 (AUS).”
**Important: If the business does not have a location code, nothing will be added to the lead names, even if the feature is toggled ON.**
