Custom Export Templates in TapGoods PRO
Custom Export Templates are a powerful feature in TapGoods PRO that can significantly streamline your reporting process and save you valuable time. If you frequently generate the same report with specific settings, creating a Custom Export Template can simplify the task and make it easily repeatable.
This feature is available in Custom Export, which is found underneath the Admin tab of the TapGoods PRO menu.

How to Create a Custom Export Template
Creating a Custom Export Template is quick and simple:
- In Custom Export, navigate to the tab pertaining to the report you want to create. You can use Custom Export to create a Template for any Orders, Inventory, Transactions, or Serialized Item Report.
- On your desired tab, select Data Points from the Data Shown on Report in the order you want them to appear on the excel sheet.
- Use the Filter Data section to select how you want the information pulled for the report to be filtered.
- Click Save as Template.
- In the pop-up, name the Template.
- Click Submit.
Where are Custom Export Templates located?
After you create a Custom Export Template, you can use it anytime from the Templates tab of Custom Export.
On this tab, you can review each Template and its Name and Report Type. The Report Type is the type of Report you created, so a report can be an Orders, Inventory, Transactions, or Serialized Item Report. If you want to delete a Custom Export Template, click on the X icon next to it.
