Payment Notifications vs. Payment Reminders
Payment Reminders and Payment Notifications are Email Templates that exist in TapGoods PRO with the purpose of automating communication with Customers regarding payment on their Orders. There are three email templates available regarding Payment in TapGoods PRO:
- Payment Reminder Emails: Emails that are set up to deploy when a Customer’s Order is approaching the date on which payment is due. These emails serve to remind Customers to pay.
- Final Balance Due w/ Autobill: Emails that are set to deploy when the Final Balance is actually due, notifying the Customer that the payment method on file will be charged.
- Final Balance Due w/o Autobill: Emails that are set to deploy when the Final Balance is actually due, notifying the Customer that they must pay the bill in full. These emails may include a link to payment.
The Final Balance Due with and without Autobill enabled are simple Email Templates that are set up to automatically deploy from Email Settings. You can customize Payment Notification Emails from Email Settings, but the intervals in which Payment Reminder Emails are deployed are set up in Order Settings, under Payment Notification Emails.
