How To: Enable/Disable Discount Display in Order Settings
In TapGoods PRO, you can customize how Discounts are displayed on Customer facing documentation. With this feature, you can enable or disable Discount visibility for Customers. You can customize this feature in Display Settings, which is located in Order Settings.
Order Settings are located under the Admin panel of the TapGoods PRO menu.

Once you have navigated to Order Settings, scroll down to Display Settings and click the dropdown arrow to customize the features available in this setting.
Within Display Settings, you can Enable/Disable Discount Display by using the toggle next to Do not display discounts.
If you enable this toggle, you will be able to select the circumstances which Discounts will or will not be displayed for Customers. It is important to note that you will only be able to see these options if you have Do not display discounts toggled on. With this toggle disabled, Discounts will always be visible to your Customers.
When you have Do not display discounts toggled on in Order Settings, you can customize this in the Items & Staffing tab of individual Orders. Here, you can select the following options available in Display Settings:
- Display Discounts via Strikethrough: With this feature enabled, your Customers will be able to view the Discounts placed on their Order. The original price will be struck out and the Discounted price will be listed beside it.
- Display Discounted Rate Only: With this feature enabled, your Customers will only be able to view the discounted rate of the product. With this option selected, Customers cannot see the original price of the Item(s).
- Do not display discounts: With this feature enabled, Discounts placed on the Order will not be visible to the Customer. Your internal staff can view Discounts, but the original price will show on Customer facing Quotes/Invoices.
