How To: Combine Transactions and Refunds in QuickBooks
Once you have connected your QuickBooks account to TapGoods PRO, you can customize how transactional data will sync over. TapGoods PRO offers users this feature in QuickBooks Settings. If you would like to combine Transactions and Refunds in QuickBooks, you can quickly enable this feature in QuickBooks Settings.
**Note: Combining Refunds & Transactions is only applicable to Journal Entries in TapGoods PRO. Invoices will always show Transactions and Refunds on separate lines corresponding with the same Customer.**
To navigate to QuickBooks Settings, navigate to QuickBooks located in Reports under the Admin panel of the dashboard.
Once you are on the QuickBooks page, click on Settings to navigate to QuickBooks Settings.
In QuickBooks Settings, you can combine Transactions and Refunds by enabling the toggle next to Combine transactions and refunds.
Once you have enabled this toggle, Transactions and Refunds will be combined on Journal Entries when syncing over to QuickBooks.
It is important to note that this will ONLY combine them in QuickBooks; Transactions and Refunds will remain individual in TapGoods PRO.
