Order Settings: Autobook
In TapGoods PRO, users can enable Autobook for orders that are made by customers on the user’s Storefront. Enabling Autobook in TapGoods PRO gives Customers the option to pay the Deposit and sign an Order Agreement without the business owner manually initiating these processes. If Auto Convert Quotes to Reservations is enabled, these Orders will automatically be converted to Reservations if all requirements have been met by the Customer.
To set up Autobook, navigate to Order Settings, located underneath Admin on the dashboard.

On the Order Settings page, Autobook is located near the top of the page, underneath Payment Terms. To customize this setting, click the dropdown arrow next to Autobook.
To edit the Autobook Settings, click the dropdown arrow next to Autobook and click the Pencil icon.
When toggled ON, TapGoods PRO will allow customers to automatically book reservations on Storefront & Marketplace. Users can filter which types of orders can be placed automatically by checking the following:
- Delivery
- Customer Pickup
- Shipping
When the box is checked next to the desired type of order, any order placed on Storefront & Marketplace that meets all requirements will allow Customers to decide whether they would like to automatically convert the order to a Reservation. Customers can still choose to submit the order as a Lead if they are not ready to reserve the inventory.
Additionally, TapGoods PRO users can set a notice deadline prior to an Autobooking. It is important to note that orders that do not follow the minimum notice needed will always come through as a Lead [Pending Order].
To set a notice deadline, follow the steps listed below.
- Toggle Allow customers to autobook on Storefront & Marketplace ON.
- Check the box next to all desired order types…
- Delivery
- Customer Pickup
- Shipping
- Enter the quantity of days notice needed next to each order type selected
- Click Save.
