How To: Set a Default Delivery Method in Delivery Options
In TapGoods PRO, you can set a Default Delivery Method which all new Orders will default to. Setting a Default Delivery Method will make creating Orders in our system quicker than ever. With this feature, you can select Delivery, Customer Pick Up, or Shipping as the Delivery Method that all new Orders will default to.
The Default Delivery Method is set up in Delivery Options of Order Settings, which can be found under Admin in the TapGoods PRO menu.
In Order Settings, scroll down to Delivery Options and click the dropdown arrow to view the various customizable features within this Order Setting.
To set up a Default Delivery Method, follow the steps listed below.
- Click the Pencil icon in Delivery Options.
- Click the dropdown menu located in the Default Delivery field.
- Select one of the following Delivery Types that new Orders will default to. Once a Default Delivery has been selected, all Order Forms will default to this Delivery type.
- Delivery
- Customer Pick Up
- Shipping
Click Save.
It is important to note that selecting a new Default Delivery Method will only impact new Orders going forward. If you want to change the Delivery Method for existing Orders, you will have to edit them manually.
