How To: Send a Statement to a Company Contact
When an AR Company pays for an Order using a Credit Term, business owners will seek payment in the form of a Statement. Statements are sent to the Statements Contact to collect Payment based on the Payment Terms agreed on with the Company.
Statements are located in Payment Terms, which can be found under the Admin panel of the TapGoods PRO dashboard.
How to Find Statements in TapGoods PRO
- Hover over Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
- Scroll down to Payment Terms.
- Click on Statements.
How to Send a Statement to a Company Contact
You can send a statement email to a company contact or to any email address from the Emails tab.
Option 1: Send to a Company Contact
Open the Emails tab on the statement.
Leave the Send To dropdown set to Contacts.
Select the checkbox next to the company contact you want to email.
(Optional) Enter a message in Custom Note if you want to add a personalized message.
Click Send Email.
Option 2: Send to a Custom Email Address
Open the Emails tab on the statement.
Open the Send To dropdown and select Other
Enter the email address you want to send the statement to.
Click Send Email.
Use this option when sending a statement to an external recipient, such as an accountant or alternate billing contact.
Once a Statement Email is sent to a Statements Contact, it will appear in the Email History on the right side of the page. At any time, you can Resend an email by clicking Resend.
