Custom Email Settings in TapGoods PRO
On the Custom page of Email Settings, you can create Custom Email Templates that will populate under Email Types in the Emails tab of an Order. Custom Email Settings are located in Email Settings, which can be found under the Admin panel of the TapGoods PRO dashboard.
Once you have navigated to Email Settings, click on Custom to create Custom Email Templates. Custom Email Templates function like regular Email Templates in TapGoods PRO, and you can manually send emails created on this page to Customers in the Emails tab of existing Orders.
On the Custom Email Templates page, it is important to note the Custom Fields on the right-hand side of the page. These Shortcodes can be copied into your Templates to personalize each Customer facing email!
To add a Custom Email Template to TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Click Add New Email.
- Create a Custom Email Title.
- Customize the Email Subject Line.
- Compose the Email in the Note section.
- [Optional] Click the Purple Eye icon to have a Preview Email sent to your email.
- Click Save.
Once a Custom Email Template has been created, users can manually send them in the Order Form. To send a Custom Email Template to a customer…
- Navigate to the desired Order.
- Convert the Order to a Reservation.
- Click on the Emails tab.
- Under Email Type, click on the dropdown arrow and select the Custom Email Template.
- Under Send To, click the dropdown arrow to select Customers, Team Members, or Other.
- Check the box next to desired recipients.
- (Optional) Write a Custom Note for the customer using the text box provided.
- (Optional) Attach relevant Documents.
- (Optional) Use the Purple Eye icon to send a Preview Email to your email.
- Click Email.
