How To: Send Emails from an Existing Order
Once you have created an Order, you can send Emails to contacts on the Order at any time from the Emails tab of the Order. This feature of TapGoods PRO is extremely useful for contacting Customers, Team Members, or Staff on Orders. Emails sent on the Emails tab are impacted by Email Settings, and many of the options available on this page can be automated.
To manually send an Email from the Emails tab of an Order, follow the steps listed below.
- Navigate to an existing Order.
- Click on the Emails tab.
- Under Email Type, click the dropdown arrow next to Order Summary and select one of the available Email types.
- Under Send To, click the dropdown arrow next to Customers and select the recipients.
**Note: Depending on the Email you have selected, the options recipients will be different.** - Add a Custom Note [OR leave the text box empty to send the default copy of the email set up in Email Settings].
- [Optional] Attach documents by clicking Attach Document OR check the box next to default attachments.
- Click Email.
The selected recipients will receive an Email regarding their Order once you have clicked Email. To view a preview of the Email, click the Purple Eye icon; this will send a sample Email to your business email!
