Order Settings: Discounts
In Order Settings, users can set up Discounts that can be applied to orders in the system. These Discounts will NOT be applied automatically to orders and will be accessible in the Options, Discounts, & Fees tab while editing an order. To set up Discounts in the platform, navigate to Order Settings, which are located in Admin on the system dashboard.

In Order Settings, Discounts are located below Delivery Options.
You can add as many Discounts to TapGoods PRO as you need! When you are ready to add Discounts to TapGoods PRO, click the dropdown arrow and follow the steps listed below.
- Click Add Discount.
- Name the Discount.
- Click the dropdown menu next to Dollar ($) and Select Dollar ($) or Percentage (%).
- Input the quantity desired.
- Select one of the following types of Discounts.
- Global Discount: Applies to ALL items in the Order except for Delivery Fees and any Additional Fees.
- Inventory Discount: Applies only to items/bundles in the Order.
6. Click Save.
Once Discounts have been added to the platform, you can edit or delete them at any time. To edit a Discount, click the Pencil icon next to it. To delete a Discount, click the red Trash Can icon.
**Note: Any Discounts that are edited or deleted from TapGoods PRO will not retroactively impact existing Orders. To remove Discounts from Orders, manually navigate to the Order and delete the Discount from the Options, Discounts, & Fees tab.**
Adding Discounts to TapGoods PRO makes them available to add to Companies and Customers as Default Discounts, and can add them to individual Orders on the Options, Discounts & Fees tab.
