Accessing Team Permissions
The Permissions page is located in Team Settings, which can be accessed under Admin on the system dashboard.
Permissions Icon Glossary
When you are navigating the Permissions page, there are a few icons you should know. These icons appear next to Permissions that are not changeable for various users, such as Partial Users:
- Lock Icon: This icon indicates that the feature next to it is ALWAYS AVAILABLE and visible to the type of user you are trying to edit. You cannot change the visibility of this feature.
- Stop Icon: This icon indicates that the feature next to it is NOT AVAILABLE and is not visible to the type of user you are trying to edit. You cannot change the visibility of this feature.
Comparing Roles in Permissions
On the Permissions page of Team Settings, users can compare the Permissions of different Roles to understand what each Role has access to in the platform. The purpose of this functionality is to allow users to view one role on the right side of the screen, while they customize another on the left side.
Any role in TapGoods PRO can be customized except for Super Admins. Super Admins have permission to view and change all aspects of your account. It is recommended to reserve the Super Admin role for business owners or Operations Managers.
