What is the Net Earnings Report?
The Net Earnings Report is a BI Report that breaks down your business’s Net Earnings during the time period configured in the Recognize Revenue By field and the Order Start Date filter on the report. These two settings are essential because they narrow down the data that is displayed on the Report.
The "Recognize Revenue By" settings serve to determine which revenue is considered as recognized. This ensures that only revenue that has been officially recognized is displayed in the report, enhancing accuracy. On the other hand, the "Order Start Date" allows you to establish a specific date range. This ensures that the data on the report pertains exclusively to Orders with Start Dates falling within the selected range.
By utilizing these settings, the Net Earnings Report becomes a powerful tool that offers insights into your business's financial performance, focusing on recognized revenue and orders within a designated time frame.
You can Filter the data that appears on this report using the Filter that appears on the left-hand side of the page. Here, you can Filter by Order Start Date, Order Name, Order ID, Order Status, Location, and Department. To clear any Filters you have applied to the report, click Clear Filters.
There are several Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that provide you with an accurate and robust look into the Net Earnings that your business is bringing in:
