How To: Copy Multiple Emails on Order Updates
Order updates are sent from your Location email, which is the email that you have designated for the Location that you are working in. However, if you have a Secondary Email used for each Location at your business, it can be difficult to keep track of emails if they are not deploying to all of your business emails. To solve this problem, TapGoods PRO allows you to assign Team Members to Orders that will receive Order Update emails as well.
When you create a Team Member with your secondary email, you can add it to Orders, and the email address assigned to the Team Member can receive correspondence related to the Order.
To create a Team Member for your Secondary Email, follow the steps listed below.
- Navigate to Team Settings under Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
- In Members, click Add Team Member.
- Create a First Name, Last Name, and add your secondary email to the Team Member. [First Name: Username; Last Name: @Domain]
- Click Save.
Once you have created a Team Member for your secondary email address, navigate to Email Settings, which can be found under Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
In Email Settings, click on the Global tab. In Global Email Settings, ensure that the following Settings are updated:
- Enable Automatically CC Team Members on correspondence related to their work in TapGoods.
- In Email Sending Method, Select Send emails from my location email.
Once you have added a Team Member to your account with the secondary email assigned and your Order Settings reflect the screenshot above, you can copy your secondary email on Orders at any time by assigning the Team Member to the Order.
