Testing Merchant Partner Connections in TapGoods PRO
Once your Merchant Account is created, it is time to create a test transaction to ensure that your account has successfully connected to your Merchant Processor. This will ensure that all of your connections are working properly. Before you test a Payment on your account, ensure that you have done the following:
- Create a Test Customer in Contacts and add a Credit Card to their details. To learn more about Creating a Customer in TapGoods PRO, click here!
- Create a Test Item worth $1 in your Inventory. To learn more about creating a new Item in TapGoods PRO, click here!
To test your Merchant Partner Connection, follow the steps listed below.
- Create a new Order.
- Choose a Test Customer.
- Choose Customer Pickup as the Delivery Method.
- Add a piece of Inventory worth $1.00 to the Order.
- Create the Quote.
- Navigate to Billing.
- Under Payment, choose the Customer with a Credit Card on file or add a new Credit Card to the Order.
- Click Submit Payment.
Once you have submitted the Payment, it can take up to 24 hours for the Payment to reflect in your Bank Account. Make sure to check your account to make sure that all connections are working properly.
