How To: Customize Default Checking Out Statuses in Picklist Settings
In Picklist Settings, you can customize the Statuses that are available as you check inventory out for a rental. TapGoods PRO automatically generates the Reserved and Picked statuses; these statuses account for terminology used on the Picklist tab of the Order. You can add as many Statuses as you want to this section [examples: Pulled, Staged, On Dock, etc.]. However, it is important to remember that the “Picked” status should remain last, but you can change the name of this Status.
To change these Statuses, navigate to Picklist Settings, located under the Admin panel of the TapGoods PRO menu.
If you would like to change the language used for Checked Out or Reserved Items on Orders, follow the steps below.
- Hover over the Status and click the Pencil icon.
- Use the text box to rename the Status.
- Click Update.
It is important to note that changing the default Statuses in TapGoods PRO will impact the terminology used in the Checked-Out stage of the Order Process.
Changing the default Checked Out Status will change all instances of the Checked Out Status in the Picklist tab to any terminology of your choice. This is also true for the Reserved Status [i.e. If Reservation is changed to Off-Shelf, this terminology will replace all instances of the Reserved Status on the Picklist tab of an Order].
