How To: Scan Items onto Picklists during Check-In
If you have Serialized Items that you want to check in during the Check-in stage of the Order Process, TapGoods PRO now offers the ability to scan Serialized Items onto the Picklist. With this feature, you can scan a specific Serialized Item onto the Picklist quickly and easily.
How to Scan Items onto Picklists with Camera
TapGoods PRO now lets users scan serial numbers using the built-in Camera on your device! This is a great way to use mobile devices for quick scanning!
To do so, you must give your browser permission to access the Camera on your device.

Once you have given your browser permission to access the camera, you can start scanning using the camera. To do so, follow these steps:
- Click on the Barcode icon next to the Item(s) you want to check-in.
- Click Scan Barcode Using Camera.
- Hover your camera over the Barcode you would like to scan.
That's it! The barcode you scan will appear on the list of items you are checking in.
How to Scan an Item onto the Picklist Using a Scanner
To scan an Item onto the Picklist during the Check-in process, follow the steps listed below.
- Click on the Barcode icon next to the Item(s) you want to check-in.
- Use your Scanner to scan the Serial Number.
- Click Add Item to Check-In List.
**Note: If you scan an Item that was NOT checked out during the Check-Out process, TapGoods PRO will generate an error. You must check in the same Items that were checked out.**
