How To: Add Team Members to TapGoods PRO
In TapGoods PRO, users can add Team Members to the platform with various Permissions depending on the Team Member’s role in the business in Team Settings.
When you are adding users to your account, you have two options:
- Add an Existing Team Member to a Location: This is unique to multilocation businesses, and allows you to add an existing team member from another location to the location you have selected. For single-location businesses, this option will be greyed out.
- Add a New Team Member: This is available to both multilocation and single-location businesses, and lets you add a new team member to the location you have selected.

Accessing Team Settings
To access Team Settings, click on Admin in the system dashboard and scroll down to Settings; in Settings, click on Team.
Depending on their TapGoods PRO subscription, users can add a limited number of Team Members to the platform. On the Members page of TapGoods PRO, users can view all Team Members currently registered in the platform. For users who utilize Multilocation, Team Members from individual Locations can be viewed by clicking the dropdown arrow next to All and selecting a Location.
On the Team Settings page, TapGoods PRO will indicate to the user how many Full Users and Partial Users are already registered to the business. If the user has already registered the maximum number of users permitted for their Subscription Tier, the platform will display an orange alert next to the number. Users can update the number of Users permitted in their business by clicking Update Number of Users.
**Note: If a user exceeds the number of users permitted for their TapGoods PRO Subscription Tier, an additional charge will be added to the monthly rate.**
Users can add several default types of Team Members or Roles to their business using this page.
- Super Admin
- Admin
- Manager
- Team Member
- Warehouse Manager
- Partial User
Adding an Existing Team Member to a Location
To add an existing Team Member to a location in a multilocation business, follow the steps listed below:
- Navigate to the Team Settings page in TapGoods PRO.

Click on the dropdown arrow next to "All", and select the Location you want to make changes to.

Click Add New Team Member. A slide-out drawer will appear with your options.
- Under Add Existing Team Member to [Location], click the dropdown arrow to display a list of employees you can add to the Location.
- Click on the Team Member you want to add.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Role and select the role you want to assign to the Team Member in this location.
- If they are a Delivery Team Member, check the box next to Delivery Team Member.
- Click Save.
Adding a Team Member to TapGoods PRO
To add a Team Member to TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Navigate to the Team Settings page in TapGoods PRO.

On the Members page of Team Settings, click Add New Team Member.

In the slide-out drawer, click Create A New User.

In Add New User to [Business Name], fill out the Team Member’s information.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Select the Team Member’s Role or Add Another Team Member's Role.
- Click Save.
Editing Team Members
Users of TapGoods PRO can edit Team Members at any time by clicking the Pencil Icon next to the Team Member’s name.
Resetting Team Members' Passwords
Additionally, users can send their Team Members a Password Reset Link. To send a Password Reset Link…
- Click the Pencil Icon next to the Team Member’s name.

In Edit User for Location, click Send Password Reset Link.
Once a Password Reset Link has been sent to the Team Member’s email, they will be permitted to reset their TapGoods password.
Deleting Team Members from TapGoods PRO
To delete a Team Member from the system, click the X icon next to the desired Team Member.
