Email Template: Action Request Emails
Action Request emails are emails that will request action from customers attached to Orders that require additional action before they can move forward in the Order process.
This type of email is customizable within Email Settings, which can be found under the Admin panel on the dashboard of TapGoods PRO.Click here to navigate to Email Settings in TapGoods PRO!
When action is required from a Customer on a rental, it is important to make contact with the Customer to communicate that there is a Signature required or a need to prompt Payment. To streamline this process, users can utilize the Action Request Template to automate contact with the Customer.
To edit the Email Template, follow the steps below.
- Click on the Pencil icon.
- Change the contents of the Subject line.
- Add the contents of the email in Notes.
- Click Save.
To have the Action Request email sent to customers automatically, enable Automatic Send by clicking on the toggle. You can also manually send the email to customers in the Emails tab of an Order that has already been created.
To manually send an Action Request Email, follow the steps listed below.
- Navigate to the Emails tab of an existing Order.
- Under Email Type, click the dropdown arrow and select Action Request.
- Under Send To, click the dropdown arrow and select Customers or Team Members.
- Check the checkbox next to the desired recipient(s).
- (Optional) Add a Custom Note.
**Note: If the Custom Note field is left blank, the default Template configured in Email Settings will be sent to the Customer.** - (Optional) Add an Attachment to the email by clicking Attach Document or checking the box next to the desired document(s).
- Click Email.
