How To: Change Pricing of Inventory in an Order
When creating or editing an Order, you can change the Pricing of Inventory once it has been added to the Order. While Pricing is configured for Inventory when it is added to TapGoods PRO, business owners may find it necessary to change the Pricing of Inventory within an Order. Inventory is added to Orders in the Items & Staffing tab.
To navigate to the Items & Staffing tab, you must be editing the Order.
To change the Pricing of Inventory within an Order, follow the steps listed below.
- Click the Pencil icon next to the Inventory.
- In Change Pricing, select one of the following options…
- Standard Pricing: This is the default Pricing configured in the Inventory’s page. With the Standard Pricing option, you can select from all of the rates set up on the Item's page.
Note: If Combined Rate Pricing is enabled in Inventory Settings, Combined Rate Pricing will be in the place of Standard Pricing. - Set Per-Unit Cost: If there is a Per-Unit cost set for the Inventory, the Default cost will populate in this field. You can manually change the Per-Unit cost by selecting this option and changing the quantity.
Set Total Cost: Selecting this option will give you the option to change the Total Cost of the selected Inventory added to the Order. 3. (Optional) Add a Discount to the Inventory.
4. Click Update.
It is important to note that changing the Pricing of Inventory within an Order will NOT impact the Default Pricing configured for the Inventory.
