Adding Delivery Information to Orders
In TapGoods PRO, adding a Delivery Method to an order is an essential part of the order creation process. Adding a Delivery Method to orders is required, and you cannot complete the order if there is no Delivery Method selected.
To add a Delivery Method to a New Order, navigate to the Order Details tab.
On the Order Details tab, scroll down to the Delivery field, and you will be able to select the Delivery Method for the order. Utilizing this section, users can add Delivery Costs to the order and ensure that the Delivery Location is accurate.
Delivery Methods available are:

Customer Pick Up: This delivery option is for clients who would like to pick up the order from the TapGood PRO user’s warehouse address or business address. This location is set up in Order Settings. When Customer Pickup is selected, the icon in the image below will appear next to the Order.
Orders that are Customer Pick Up will not have a delivery charge and users will not set up a Delivery Route, since the customer will be picking the order up from the Pick Up Location.

Default Delivery Cost: This option will use the TapGoods PRO user’s default delivery cost located in Order Settings. With this option selected, users can select Use Customer Address for Delivery Location, Use Company Address for Delivery Location, Use Venue Address for Delivery Location, or Use New Address for Delivery Location to input a new address manually. Once Default Delivery Cost has been selected and the location is inputted, click Calculate Delivery to apply the Delivery Cost to the order.

Custom Delivery Cost: This option will allow the TapGoods PRO user to override the default delivery cost and input a custom cost manually. With this option selected, users can select Use Customer Address for Delivery Location, Use Company Address for Delivery Location, Use Venue Address for Delivery Location, or Use New Address for Delivery Location to input a new address manually.
You can also click the dropdown arrow to add a Custom Delivery Fee to the Order. Custom Delivery Fees are added to TapGoods PRO in Order Settings, and are based on Zip Code.
- Additionally, users can Change Tax for Delivery when adding a Custom Delivery Cost. To change the taxes applied to delivery, click Change Tax for Delivery. Clicking this link will take you to the Options, Discounts, & Fees tab on the order form, and you will scroll down to Tax Exemption. To make the Delivery Tax Exempt, check the box next to Delivery is Tax Exempt.

Ship: Using this option, TapGoods PRO users can ship items directly to customers using FedEx or USPS. To select the carrier, click the dropdown arrow next to Select Carrier and select the preferred carrier that will ship items to the customer.
With this option selected, users can choose to use the customer's address for Delivery Location, the Company's Address for Shipping Location, the venue's address for Shipping Location, or enter a new address manually for Delivery Location.
- Additionally, you have the option to add a shipping cost. To do so, input the desired amount into the data field located to the right of 'Shipping Cost'. When shipping inventory to customers, you can input tracking numbers so that Customers can track delivery of the inventory. Deliver Tracking Numbers and Return Tracking Numbers can be put into the system using the Delivery field in Order Details.
