How To: Create an FAQ Page for Storefront
If you are a subscriber to Storefront+ Complete or a higher package, you can create and add Pages to your Storefront to create a beautiful and Customer friendly website. Adding Pages to Storefront is done within your TapGoods PRO account, and you can navigate to the Pages page under Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
TapGoods PRO offers several Page Templates that you can utilize to create your business website. Among those templates is the Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ] Page. On the FAQ Page, you can add an array of Frequently Asked Questions for Customers to reference before reaching out to your business. This page can be used in a variety of ways, but it is traditionally used to answer common inquiries.
To create an FAQ Page in TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Click Add New Page.
- Select the FAQ Template.
- Click Add Page.
Once you have created a FAQ Page, there are several sections that you can customize to create a unique page.
Title Page
In the Title Page section, you can customize the Title of the Page. You can also click on the Pencil icon to select whether the Text on the Title will be Dark or Light font. To add a Title to the FAQ Page, type the Title into the text box.
Main Area
In the Main Area section, you can add an Image that will appear on the FAQ page along with the Title. On this page, the Image you add to this section will appear in the main area.
To add an Image, click Select a Picture and upload a PNG or JPEG to the Page Template.
FAQ Page Questions
In the FAQ Page Questions section, you can add a list of questions and answers for your Customers to review. On this page, there is no limit to how many Questions you can add.
To add a Question to the FAQ Page, click Add Another Question.
Once you have added a question, click the dropdown arrow next to it to make changes. Once you click the dropdown arrow, you can add the question and an answer. Additionally, you can customize how the text appears by clicking the Pencil icon and selecting Dark or Light text.
If you want to delete a question at any time, click the red Trash Can icon. Additionally, you can drag and drop the order of FAQ Questions! First, click and hold your mouse or trackpad button on the left side of the question you wish to move. Then, while continuing to hold the button, move your cursor to the desired location. Release the button to 'drop' the question into its new position.
SEO Meta Data
The SEO Meta Data field is utilized to help Customers find your webpage on search engines. In this field, you can set up how the Page is described in search engine results and input keywords and phrases that will help Customers find your business.
