How To: Create a Connections Page for Storefront
If you are a subscriber to Storefront+ Complete or a higher package, you can create and add Pages to your Storefront to create a beautiful and Customer friendly website. Adding Pages to Storefront is done within your TapGoods PRO account, and you can navigate to the Pages page under Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
TapGoods PRO offers several Page Templates that you can utilize to create your business website. Among those templates is the Connections page, which is generally used to list Connections such as Vendors or other trusted companies that you have worked with. However, this page can also be used to link to other webpages or forms, much like the Category Showcase page.
To create a Connections page in TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Click Add New Page.
- Select the Connections Template.
- Click Add Page.
Once you have created a Connections Page, there are several sections that you can customize to create a unique page.
Title Page
In the Title Page section, you can customize the Title of the Page. To add a Title to the Connections, type the Title into the text box.
Main Area
In the Main Area section, you can add an Image that will appear on the Connections page along with a description for the main area of the page. On this page, the Image you add to this section will appear in the main area along with the Title.
To add an Image, click Select a Picture and upload a PNG or JPEG to the Page Template.
Select How Many Connections You Would Like To Show
In this section you can create up to 12 Connections that will appear on your Storefront. Connections can be clickable buttons that you can use to direct your Customers to different webpages, or simply images with descriptions. To select a number of Connections, click the dropdown arrow and select a number.
The number of Connections that you select will be the number of sections that will appear on your page for Customers to review or click on. When you select a number, the Connections will appear, where you can name each and attach a link. Additionally, you can attach pictures that will appear on the Connections.
If you decide to add Links to Connections, you can have the linked web page open in a new browser tab by clicking the checkbox next to Open in a new browser tab.
SEO Meta Data
The SEO Meta Data field is utilized to help Customers find your webpage on search engines. In this field, you can set up how the Page is described in search engine results and input keywords and phrases that will help Customers find your business.
