How To: Create an About Us Page in Storefront
If you are a subscriber to Storefront+ Complete or a higher package, you can create and add Pages to your Storefront to create a beautiful and Customer friendly website. Adding Pages to Storefront is done within your TapGoods PRO account, and you can navigate to the Pages page under Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
TapGoods PRO offers several Page Templates that you can utilize to create your business website. Among those templates is the About Us page, which is generally used to give Customers an overview of your business and its values.
To add an About Us page to your Storefront, follow the steps listed below.
- Click Add New Page.
- Select the About Us Template.
- Click Add Page.
Once you are in your About Us Template, there are several sections that you can customize to create a unique About Us page.
Title Page
In the Title Page section, you can customize the Title of the Page and how the text will appear on your Storefront. To add a Title to the About Us Page, type the Title into the text box.
Main Area
In the Main Area section, you can add an Image that will appear on the About Us page along with a description for the main area of the page. To add a description, type the text that you want to appear on the page in the Description text box. To add an Image, click Select a Picture and upload a PNG or JPEG to the Page Template.
Team
In the Team section, you can add Team Members that you want to highlight on the About Us page. In this section, you can add a Header and up to six Team Members to the page. Additionally, you can click on the Pencil icon to change whether the text appearing on the page will be Light or Dark.
To add Team Members to your About Us page, select how many you would like to add to the page and then add an Image and and Description for each Team Member.
In order to show Team Members on the About Us page, click the toggle next to Show team on About Us. If this toggle is not enabled, the Team Members you add will not show up on Storefront.
Testimonials
If you have Testimonials created for your business, you can add the Testimonials to the About Us page by clicking the toggle in this field. To show Testimonials on the About Us page, enable the toggle next to Show Testimonials on About Us.
SEO Meta Data
The SEO Meta Data field is utilized to help Customers find your webpage on search engines. In this field, you can set up how the Page is described in search engine results and input keywords and phrases that will help Customers find your business.
