The Order Process for Partial Users
While Partial Users cannot create Orders in TapGoods PRO, they are permitted to access them and move them through the Order Process. In this article, we will review what each stage of the Order Process looks like for a Partial User under the default settings. If you utilize Advanced Permissions, then certain permissions shown in this article can be removed from Partial Users if desired.
Order View
Regardless of the stage of the Order Process that the Order is in, Partial Users have access to two tabs:
- Picklist: This is where Partial Users can review the inventory on the Order and check items in/out.
- Display: This is where Partial Users can review crucial information for the Order, such as Event Information, Contact Information, Delivery Information, and a list of the Inventory on the Order.
If a Partial User wants to print the page at any point in the Order Process, they can simply click the Printer icon.
Quotes
On the Picklist of a Quote, Partial Users can view the Inventory on the Order along with Order Details at the bottom of the page. In Order Details, your Partial Users can review the Order Information, Contact Information, Delivery Information, Service Information, and any Notes or Documents attached to the Order.
When the Quote is ready to be converted to a Reservation, Partial Users can convert it by clicking “Convert to Reservation”.
Reservations
When an Order is converted to a Reservation, Partial Users can use the Picklist tab to check Inventory out. This process is the same as when a Full User or Super Admin utilizes the Picklist to check out Inventory.
Once a Partial User is finished checking out Inventory, they can convert the Order to the “Checked-Out” stage by clicking “Check Out Items”.
Checked-Out Orders
When an Order is Checked-Out, Partial Users can use the Picklist tab to check Inventory back in. This process is the same as when a Full User or Super Admin utilizes the Picklist to check in Inventory.
Once a Partial User is finished checking in Inventory, they can convert the Order to the “Checked-In” stage by clicking “Check In Items”.
To print a Picklist from this page, users can simply click the Printer icon.
Checked-In Orders
For Partial Users, this is the last stage of the Order Process. Partial Users cannot close Checked-In Orders; only Full Users and Super Admins can convert an Order to the “Closed” stage.
