How to: Upload a Tab Icon
The Storefront Styling page of TapGoods PRO offers many customization options to create a unique Storefront that accurately represents your business. One unique feature of the Storefront Styling page is the ability to upload a Tab Icon. The Storefront Styling page is located under the Admin panel of the system dashboard, in Storefront Styling.
In the Tab Icon field, you can upload a Favicon, which will appear on the tab of most browsers. This image must be very small in order to fit on the tab of the browser. The Tab Icon must be uploaded as a .JPG or a .PNG file.
Favicons are very small Logos, so it is important to note that most Favicons are not larger than 16 pixels wide and 16 pixels high. This does not leave much room for complex designs, so it is recommended to upload a simple and sleek design.
To upload a Tab Icon, follow the steps listed below.
- Under Tab Icon, click Select a favicon.
- Select the File from your PC.
Once you have uploaded your Tab Icon to the Styling page, it will populate in the tab of your Storefront. To preview your Storefront, click Preview Site on the right side of the Storefront Styling page.
On your Storefront, view the tab to review your Tab Icon.
