What is a Work Order in TapGoods PRO?
A Work Order in TapGoods PRO is a formal document filled out regarding a Maintenance Order and approved work that can be done on the Item in Maintenance. On a Work Order in TapGoods PRO, you can:
- Add Work Order Dates.
- Add an Inventory Return Date (when the Item is expected to return to available Inventory).
- Add Line Item Pricing to the Order for Services and Parts/Materials.
- Add information regarding whether the Maintenance Order will be completed internally or externally.
- Add a Job Description containing general information about the Maintenance Order.
- Add Work Order Notes.
- View the total cost of the Work Order.
When Work Orders are submitted, they can be reviewed at any time on the Item that is in Maintenance. Items that are currently in Maintenance can be reviewed on the Maintenance page, which can be found under Inventory on the TapGoods PRO menu.
When you create a Work Order within Maintenance, the information contained in the Maintenance Order can be tracked on the Maintenance page.
