What is Maintenance in TapGoods PRO?
The Maintenance page in TapGoods PRO tracks all of your Inventory that you have taken out of circulation for maintenance purposes. Items that are moved to Maintenance in TapGoods PRO are removed from available inventory, meaning that when you create an Order, Items that are in Maintenance are accounted for and cannot be rented out. With this feature, you can actively prevent Overbooked Orders and keep track of where your Inventory is at all times.
To navigate to the Maintenance page, follow the steps below.
- Hover over Inventory on the TapGoods PRO Menu.
- Click on Maintenance.
On the Maintenance page, all Items that are in Maintenance are listed for review. To filter for Serialized Items, simply click the dropdown arrow at the top of the page and select Serialized. If you want to search for a particular Item, use the search bar.
On the Maintenance page, you can review two tabs:
- Open: In this tab, all of the Items listed are marked Open. This usually means that the Item is actively being worked on and is not ready to return to Available Inventory.
- Closed: In this tab, all of the Items listed are marked Closed. Items listed here are ready to be returned to Available Inventory.
On each of these tabs, you can review the following statuses:
- Item Name
- Quantity: How many of the Items are in Maintenance.
- Priority: When an Item is in Maintenance, the Priority indicates how urgently the Item needs to be moved back into Available Inventory. In TapGoods PRO, an Item’s priority can be LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH. The Priority set for the Item is displayed under this column.
- Work Order [TapGoods Select Subscription]: If the Item has a Work Order attached, a blue check mark will appear under this column.
- Inventory Return [TapGoods Select Subscription]: This is the date that the Item is projected to return to Available Inventory. This information is generated from a Work Order.
- Internal/External [TapGoods Select Subscription]: This column displays whether a Work Order is being completed internally or outsourced. If the Item is internally worked on, the column will display Int. If the Item is sent out of the warehouse to be worked on, the column will display Ext.
- Location [TapGoods Select Subscription]: This column displays which Location the Item is located in.
- Amount: This column displays how much the Maintenance will cost.
