What is GPS Integration in TapGoods PRO?

TapGoods PRO Select & Premier users can track trucks on route using GPS Integration within TapGoods PRO. GPS Integration allows users to get the latest GPS location of deliveries, pull vehicle datain Samsara (GPS location, current speed, RPMs, direction and location), retrieve a vehicle’s trip history, and more.

 

 To access GPS Integration, follow the steps listed below.

  1. Navigate to Operations on the TapGoods PRO Dashboard.
  2. Under Routing, click GPS.

On the GPS page, users can connect devices to Samsara, the GPS system that TapGoods PRO partners with to track truck routes. More detailed information regarding vehicles being tracked can be located in Samsara.

Connecting a Samsara Device to TapGoods PRO

To connect a device to Samsara in TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.

  1. Input the API Token code.
  2. Click Connect to Samsara.

Once devices are connected to Samsara, you can connect them to Trucks in TapGoods PRO that you want to track.
