How To: Apply Bulk Actions to Serialized Items on the Items Page
Bulk actions can also be applied to Serialized Items on the Items page of TapGoods PRO. To apply a bulk action to Serialized Inventory, navigate to the Items page under the Inventory panel of the system menu.
How to Apply Bulk Actions to Serialized Items
Click the dropdown arrow next to All and select Serialized Inventory. If you are a user managing multiple locations, you can also select Serialized -- All Locations to manage serialized items across all your locations.
[For multi-location businesses, an additional column titled Location will appear. It will show the specific location of each serialized item, helping you manage inventory distribution across various sites.]
Enable the checkbox next to the serialized item (s) to which you want to apply a bulk action. Then, click the dropdown arrow next to Bulk Actions.
On this page, you can apply one of two bulk actions to Serialized Inventory.
- Delete All Serial Numbers: Selecting this option will delete all Serial Numbers from the units in the Serialized Item.
- Generate Serial Numbers: Selecting this option will generate Serial Numbers for units that do not already have one assigned.
**Note: If all units on a Serialized Item already have Serial Numbers assigned, clicking Generate Serial Numbers will not impact any units in the Item Record.**
