How To: Update the Inventory Ledger on Inventory Details Pages
Updating the Inventory Ledger in TapGoods PRO is simple and can be done on any Item, Accessory, or Purchase Details page. To make changes to the Inventory Ledger for a piece of Inventory, just follow these steps:
- Hover over the Inventory tab.
- Click on Items, Accessories, or Purchases depending on the type of Inventory you want to update.
- Select the piece of Inventory you want to update by clicking on it.
- On the [Inventory Type] Details page, locate the Update Inventory section.
- Select Add Items or Remove Items.
- Enter the Quantity of the Item you are adding or subtracting from your account in the text box provided.
- Select a Date using the Calendar icon.
- [Optional] Add a Cost.
- [Optional] Add a PO Number.
- [Optional] Add Notes.
- Click the Submit button to save the changes.
That's it! By following these simple steps, you can easily update the Inventory Ledger for any piece of Inventory in TapGoods PRO. Any changes you make to the Inventory Ledger will be tracked below Update Inventory in the Inventory Ledger section of the page.
