How To: Link Items to Items in TapGoods PRO
If you want to add Items to specific Items in TapGoods PRO, you can do so from the Item’s Details page. Adding Items to Items helps automate the rental process by reducing manual tasks within Order Creation. When you connect an Item to an Item, it will automatically populate on any Order with the Item added.
To add an Item to an Item, follow the steps below.
- Hover over Inventory on the TapGoods PRO Menu.
- Click on Items.
- Click on the desired Item.
- In Item Details, scroll down to Linked Inventory.
- Click Link Items.
- Add the Quantity of the Item you want to link to the Item.
- Click Link Items.
To remove a linked Item from an Item, click the X icon next to the Item.
Items that are linked to an Item will populate along with the Item if you add the Item to an Order. However, it is important to note that Linked Items can be removed from the Order at any time.
This will not impact the original item you added to the Order. If you remove the item originally added to the Order, the Linked Item will remain on the Order until you remove it manually.
