How To: Add Recurrences to TapGoods PRO
Recurrences in TapGoods PRO are set time periods in which services will be repeated on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Users can customize Recurrences to occur on any day, offering a convenient automated system in which Services can be repeated without creating a separate Order each time a Service is needed. Once created, Recurrences can be added to Services.
Recurrences are located on the Services page, which can be found in Services under the Operations panel of the TapGoods PRO dashboard.
It is important to note that Recurrences are time frames in which a Service will be performed. Recurrences can be added to Services as a Default Recurrence OR added to Services within individual Orders.
To add a new Recurrence to TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Click +New Recurrence.
- Name the Recurrence.
- Click the dropdown arrow and select Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Select the days that the Service will repeat [This section will look different depending on which time frame is selected].
- Click Submit.
In TapGoods PRO, you can create Recurrences that will occur on a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly basis. Depending on which option you choose, your options to choose from will be different.
- For Daily Recurrences, the Service will recur every day that the Order is taking place. When this option is selected, you will not choose any dates on which the Service will take place.
- For Weekly Recurrences, the Service will recur every day of the week that is selected for the Recurrence. When this option is selected, you will be given the option to choose weekdays on which the Service will recur.
- For Monthly Recurrences, the Service will recur on the dates of the month that are selected for the Recurrence. When this option is selected, you will be given the option to choose from an array of unique options. You can choose a specific Day, or the First, Second, Third, or Fourth Week or Weekend Day.
**Note: If the 31st is selected from the Calendar, months that do NOT have 31 days will default the Recurrence to the last day of the month.**
Once you have added a Recurrence to TapGoods PRO, you will be able to view it on the Recurrences page and add the Recurrence to Services. You can edit a Recurrence at any time by hovering over the Recurrence and clicking the Gear icon.
To delete a Recurrence from the platform, click the Gear icon and while editing the Recurrence, click Delete this Recurrence.
