How To: Upload Documents to Companies
In TapGoods PRO, business owners can add Documents to Companies to easily track information and documentation that is associated with the Companies that the business owner works with. By utilizing this feature, business owners can keep all documentation for each Company in one easy to access location.
To upload Documents to Companies, follow the steps listed below.
- Navigate to Contacts on the TapGoods PRO menu.
- Click Companies.
- Click on the desired Company.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Documents.
- Click Add Document(s) to Company.
- Upload the File. (.PNG, .JPEG, PDF, or .EPS Files)
- Name the File.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Select Document Type and select a Document Type.
- (Optional) Check the box next to Visible to Customer to make this document visible to the customer.
- (Optional) Check the box next to Expiration Date to add an Expiration Date to the Document.
**Note: Adding an Expiration Date to a document indicates that there is a time frame in which the document will no longer be valid. This feature is useful for documents that will not be valid after a certain time frame, such as insurance documentation. When a document is getting close to its Expiration Date, it will populate in To Do’s > Expiring Documents with an orange alert.**
11. Click Save.
