How To: Add Discounts to Customers
In Customer Details, you can add Discounts to Customers that can automatically apply to any Orders created on Storefront OR Orders created in TapGoods PRO for the Customer. Whether you want the Discount to apply automatically or not can be changed within Discounts in Customer Details. It is important to note that Discounts must be set up in Order Settings to apply a Discount to a Customer.
To add a Discount to a Customer, navigate to the Customers page, which is located under Contacts on the TapGoods PRO dashboard.
Click on the Customer to navigate to Customer Details.
Once you have navigated to the Customer Details page, you can add a Discount to the Customer by following the steps listed below.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Discounts.
- Click Add Discount(s) to Customer.
- Select Discount(s) from the list.
Discounts that are added to Customers can automatically apply to all Orders created for the Customer. To have Discounts automatically apply, enable the toggle next to Automatically apply discount(s) when this customer creates a quote on Storefront or TapGoods.
To remove a Discount from a Customer, click the X icon next to the Discount.
