How To: Add a Credit Limit to a Company in TapGoods PRO
In Company Details, you can add a Credit Limit to the Company. Credit Limits can only be added to any AR Toggled Companies in TapGoods PRO, and Orders paid for using a Credit Limit are tracked within TapGoods PRO and can be pulled on Reports.
To adda Credit Limit to a Company, navigate to the Companies page, which is located under the Contacts panel of the system dashboard.
Next, follow the steps listed below.
- Click on the Company.
- Toggle AR Company ON.
- In the Enabling AR Company pop-up, input the value for the Credit Limit.
- Click Submit.
Once a Credit Limit is set for a Company, you can utilize the Credit applied to the account for payment. This will be tracked in TapGoods PRO and can be pulled on Reports.
When a Credit is utilized to make Payment on an Order, it is called a Credit Term. When a Company uses a Credit Term to pay for an Order, it will subtract from the Credit Limit. Credit Terms are used for Payment in the Billing tab of an existing Order. Credit Terms are then billed to Statements which can later be paid through TapGoods.
