How To: Add Documents to Venues in TapGoods PRO
In TapGoods PRO, users can upload Documents to Venues to track Documentation related to Venues that are regularly used for rentals. This feature of TapGoods PRO is utilized as a form of organization, and makes keeping track of Venues and their relevant information easy and efficient within the platform.
Documents are uploaded to Venues in Venue Details, which can be navigated to on the Venues page of Contacts.
To upload Documents to Venues in TapGoods PRO…
- Navigate to Contacts on the TapGoods PRO dashboard.
- Click on Venues.
- Select the desired Venue.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Documents.
- Click on Add Document(s) to Venue.
- Upload the File. (.PNG, .JPEG, PDF, or .EPS Files)
- Name the File.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Select Document Type and select a Document Type.
- (Optional) Check the box next to Visible to Customer to make this document visible to the customer when this venue is added to an order.
- (Optional) Check the box next to Expiration Date to add an Expiration Date to the Document.
- Click Save.
**Note: Adding an Expiration Date to a document indicates that there is a time frame in which the document will no longer be valid, such as insurance documentation. When a document is getting close to its Expiration Date, it will populate in To Do’s > Expiring Documents with an orange alert.**
