How To: Add Proposal Templates to TapGoods PRO
Proposal Templates in TapGoods PRO are Templates of Order Proposals that you can create and add to any Order in the platform. Proposal Templates can be used multiple times, and you can use them to save time when sending out Order Proposals to prospective Customers.
To navigate to the Proposals page in TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Hover over Admin on the TapGoods PRO menu.
- Scroll to Templates.
- Click Proposals.
Once you have navigated to the Proposals page, you can quickly and easily edit existing Proposal Templates or add new Templates. On this page, you can edit the Name of an existing Template, copy Templates, or edit existing Templates!
To add a new Proposal Template to TapGoods PRO, follow the steps listed below.
- Click Add Proposal Template.
- In Add Proposal Template, Name the Template.
- Click Submit.
Once you have created a Template, it will populate on the Proposals page and you can edit it by clicking the Proposal icon.
When you edit a Proposal Template, it is important to select what pages you want to be included in the Proposal prior to customizing pages. You can include a Cover Page, Inspiration, Items, Order Agreement, and Billing in a Proposal; to select which pages you want to be included, check the box next to desired pages.
Once you have selected the pages you would like to include in the Proposal Template, you can edit customizable pages by clicking the dropdown arrow next to Cover Page. In Proposal Templates, you can customize the Cover Page and the Inspiration page. The Items, Order Agreement, and Billing pages are generated by the Order.
When you edit a Cover Page, you can add Images that will populate on the page and adjust the Color Palette of the page.
When you edit the Inspiration page of a Proposal Template, you can add Images to the Inspiration and adjust the Color Palette of this page as well.
Additionally, you can change how Items will appear on the Inspiration page. In the Featured Items field, select whether you would like the Most Expensive Items or the Items with the Highest Quantity to appear as the Featured Items.
Once you have customized your Cover Page and Inspiration page, click Create to save any changes you have made. Your Order Proposal Templates can be used in any existing Order on the Proposals tab.
To use a Proposal Template on an Order, follow the steps listed below.
- Navigate to the Proposal Tab on an existing Order.
- Click Start with a Template.
- Select a Template from the list.
Once you have clicked on a Template, it will populate in the Order and you can click Create Proposal to finalize the Proposal and enable options to send it to the Customer.
