How To: Change Payment Settings in Company Details
In Company Details, you can change the Payment Settings setfor individual Companies. Payment Settings for individual Companies can override Order Settings if desired. Changing the Payment Settings for individual Companies can automatically apply to all Orders created for the Company.
To change a Company’s Payment Settings, navigate to the Companies page, which is located under Contacts on the TapGoods PRO dashboard.
Click on the Company to navigate to Company Details.
Once you have navigated to Company Details, you can change the Payment Settings by following the steps listed below.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Payment Settings.
- Select one of the following options to apply to the Company.
- No deposit required to make a reservation
- Minimum deposit is required to make a reservation (It is important to note that the Minimum Deposit Amount is set up in Order Settings or can be changed per order.)
- Custom Deposit Amount
- Quote must be paid in full before it can be converted to a reservation [This does not have to take place in one payment].
3. Click Submit.
To have Deposit(s) automatically apply to Orders created for a Company, follow the step listed below.
- Click the toggle next to Automatically apply deposit(s) when this Company creates a quote on Storefront or TapGoods.
With this toggle enabled, the Payment Settings applied to the individual Company will automatically apply to Orders created for them, regardless of the Minimum Deposit Amount set in Order Settings.
